Wi-Fi Configuration

This guide explains how to connect E-VLXESP32 to your local Wi-Fi network.

Important

Before installing, make sure the signal strength is good at the chosen location. The E-VLXESP32 should be placed where it has a strong Wi-Fi connection and can reliably control the VELUX® motorized skylight window

When your E-VLXESP32 powers on for the first time, it creates a Wi-Fi hotspot:

Look for the hotspot:

SSID: E-VLXESP32 XXXXXX Hotspot
Password: PQvB!h7@

Connect and configure

Connect to the E-VLXESP32 hotspot using your phone or laptop. When the setup page opens automatically, select your home Wi-Fi network and enter the password. The device will restart and connect to your network.

If the captive portal doesn't open

Open a browser and go to http://192.168.4.1 and configure your Wi-Fi from there.
